CARL MORENO

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR | MODELLING SPECIALIST

Carl is a transport planner and civil engineer with almost 20 years of experience working for various multidisciplinary consultancy firms, on a broad range of engineering infrastructure projects. His passion lies in the quest for an ever-greater exploration of the micro-simulation modelling specialism, and he has spent most of his career perfecting his trade whilst learning new ways to provide simple solutions to complex modelling problems.

Carl met Luke early on in his career and they quickly discovered the sharing of a similar goal: to strip down the inaccessible aspects of transport modelling and open it up for the understanding of everyone, regardless of area of specialism. Years later, when their paths crossed again, the opportunity eventually came around to try to achieve this ideal through the setting up of a transport modelling consultancy together.

After a successful spell of client and project development and a strong period of growth, it became clear that a new structure was needed to accommodate the new prospects – the groundwork had been laid for Modelling Group.
